WordPress Developer

We are looking for a WordPress Developer, to implement and manage websites using WordPress, a free, open-source content management system (CMS). They are responsible for both front-end and back-end development — everything from plug-ins to security updates.

Experience window: 5+ years

Position: WordPress Developer

Location: Lesedi Local Municipality, Ratanda

Responsibilities:

- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to understand the detailed requirements of the project.
- Ability to develop WordPress website (PHP, WordPress, elementor, DIVI, plugin creation, custom theming, AMP)
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
- Ability to manage WordPress projects independently.
- Incorporating functionalities and features into the website.
- Convert the design to HTML codes with standard coding practices.
- Keep the clean and optimized code.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies

Experience and Skills:

- Strong understanding of front-end and back-end website development
- Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues solving.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
- Creative and open to new ideas.
- Should have an Analytical ability and Logical thinking

Nice to Have:

- - Knowledge in the latest Bootstrap and responsive HTML.
  - Basic knowledge of Shopify, Wix and Squarespace platforms.
  - Knowledge of Codeigniter, and Laravel will be an advantage for the candidate
